Chungha Unveils Concept Photos for New Single "México" — Deadly Charisma Completed with Leopard Print

Chungha showed off intense styling, as if draped head to toe in leopard. Unveiling the concept photos and lyric poster for her new single "México," she radiated a singular aura with her gaze alone. An Intense Visual Completed with Leopard Print On the 25th, Chungha's agency unveiled the concept photos and lyric poster images for her new single "México." Chungha exuded a weighty yet intense atmosphere. Chungha gave off a singular aura with her gaze alone, and radiated a deadly charisma especially through her leopard-print attire. Following the earlier coming-soon clip set against a space with a sense of loneliness, these concept photos raised the new song's intense mood a notch further. Direct Lyrics Delivered in Spanish The lyric poster carried Spanish lyrics in a direct style. With the words "Accelerate until the sun rises (ACELERA HASTA QUE SALGA EL SOL) / If it's with you, I'll go all the way to the end (SI ES CONTIGO YO VOY HASTA EL FINAL) / You and I, let's escape to Mexico (TÚ Y YO VAMOS A ESCAPAR A MÉXICO)," it powerfully foreshadowed the song's sentiment. "México" is a song that captures the desire to break away from a repetitive daily life and emptiness, and to leave for a place where no one knows you. It unfolds a story of facing a new self and life in an unfamiliar place. Chungha's new single "México" will be released at 6 p.m. on September 1. A Comeback After Seven Months This single is Chungha's first new song in about seven months, since the digital single "Save me" she released this past February, and it's a track fans have long awaited. Born in 1996, Chungha debuted as a member of I.O.I in 2016 after taking part in Mnet's "Produce 101" and being selected as a final member. After her group activities ended, she began her career as a solo artist in 2017, establishing herself as a solo queen by turning hit after hit with songs like "Roller Coaster," "Gotta Go," and "Stay Tonight." Anticipation is gathering for what new side Chungha—long loved for a maturity beyond her years—will show through "México."
