Taemin Reveals First Leg of World Tour 'LiMiNaL' — From Seoul to 12 Cities Across North and South America

Singer Taemin is setting out on a large-scale world tour that runs from Seoul through North and South America. With a new album on August 31 followed by the tour, he's picking up serious momentum in his global run for the second half of the year. A Grand Trek Across 3 Regions and 12 Cities On July 28, Taemin revealed the first leg of "2026-27 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR [LiMiNaL]" through his official social media. According to the announced schedule, starting from Seoul, he'll visit six U.S. cities — San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Prairie, Chicago, and New York. He'll then shift the stage to Latin America, visiting Monterrey and Mexico City in Mexico, Santiago in Chile, and Lima in Peru. Including Seoul, it's a large-scale tour spanning three regions and 12 cities where he'll meet global fans. The Meaning Behind the Tour Name "LiMiNaL" The tour title "LiMiNaL" takes its name from the Latin word "Limen," meaning "boundary." It carries the message that a boundary is not an ending, but the moment a new transformation begins. Through this tour, Taemin plans to present a further-evolved performance and his own distinct musical world. The previously released teaser poster, showing part of Taemin's face revealed through a gap, left a striking impression. Comeback on August 31 with New Album "PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE" Ahead of the tour, Taemin makes his comeback with the new album "PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE," out August 31 at 6 p.m. KST. The sugar cubes and ants featured in the earlier poster, along with the phrase "PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE," have been stirring fans' curiosity over what they might mean. With "PHASE 1" attached to the album name, anticipation is also building for the series expected to follow. Global Presence Built on Festival Stages Taemin is a member of SHINee and a solo artist, long dubbed "the idol of idols" for his unparalleled performances. Recently he has appeared one after another at major global festivals, including Coachella in the U.S. and BST Hyde Park in the U.K., meeting fans overseas. With a new album and world tour announced side by side, Taemin's global run in the second half of the year looks set to gain even more force. It will be worth watching how additional cities and dates are revealed following this first leg.
