SEVENTEEN's "HOT" Surpasses 300 Million Spotify Streams — the Team's Second

It's the second after "Super." The group SEVENTEEN added another 300-million-stream song on Spotify. They once again proved the staying power of a hit song with a long run on the global stage. "HOT" Passes 300 Million as of the 18th According to the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify on the 20th, "HOT," the title track of SEVENTEEN's fourth studio album "Face the Sun," had been streamed 300,020,304 times as of the 18th. With this, SEVENTEEN now has its second 300-million-stream song overall, after "Super." "Super," which earlier became their first 300-million-stream song, is the title track of their tenth mini album "FML" and surpassed 300 million streams this past January. With "HOT" now added, they once again confirmed SEVENTEEN's solid global fandom and the power of their hit songs. "HOT," a Song That Faces the Sun "HOT" is a hip-hop track with an impressive Western guitar sound. Its lyrics carry the will to face the blazing sun and move forward with courage, and ultimately to become that sun oneself. WOOZI, who has written many of SEVENTEEN's hit songs, took part in writing and composing this track together with singer-producer BUMZU. Its music-chart performance was also remarkable. Upon release, "HOT" reached the top tier of major Korean music sites such as Melon and Bugs, and topped the real-time charts of Japan's LINE MUSIC and AWA Music. The fourth studio album containing this song surpassed 2.06 million in first-week sales (album sales in the week right after release) and then settled at No. 7 on the US "Billboard 200." The Diverse Activity of "Super Platform" SEVENTEEN SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has continued its "super platform"-worthy activity, pouring out diverse content across fields including albums, concerts, and new media. Amid acclaim from critics and the public, Vernon, having wrapped up his unit activities, releases his new song "I'll Be Back" on the 20th. The team's "all-around maknae" Dino will hold a solo concert from the 21st to the 23rd at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. As SEVENTEEN's wide-ranging run spanning group and solo continues, "HOT" surpassing 300 million streams remains a record that symbolically shows their staying power.
